HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The Hutchinson Monarch game between the Monarchs and the Wichita Wildcats had to be suspended due to rain and lightning at 8:55pm Monday night with the Monarchs leading 3-1 in the bottom of the first inning with one out and runners at 1st and 3rd base. No date has been announced as to when this game will resume.
The Monarchs (12-3) will pay host to the Wichita Wildcats tonight at Hobart-Detter Field in Carey Park. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
Hutchinson is slated for 19 home games this season, all of which will be streamed live on HutchPost.com and the MonarchsLive.tv channel. Glen Grunwald of Eagle Media will handle the play-by-play, with Matt Peterson on the video stream.
