Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Ann Robbins, age 80, of Hutchinson, peacefully passed from this life on September 10, 2020. She was a restaurateur prior to her retirement.  Roberta enjoyed boating, watching baseball, auto racing, and collecting stuffed animals. She and her husband, Wayne, were members of Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson.

Roberta was born March 4, 1940, in Denver, CO, to Robert and Dorothy (Shelton) Williams.  She lived some of her adolescent years in Puerto Rico, before relocating to Kansas City, where she graduated from Shawnee Mission High School. As an adult, Roberta worked as a waitress, secretary, data entry clerk, and restaurateur.

She relocated to Hutchinson to marry Eldon ‘Woody’ Wood, who preceded her in death. Roberta married Wayne Robbins, who survives, in 1983, with whom she was happily married.

Roberta is survived by husband, Wayne Robbins of Hutchinson; sons, Ron (Christina Ivers) Scrogham of Irving, Texas, and Michael (Cindy) Scrogham of Virginia; sisters, Connie (Roy) Adelman of Arizona, and Michelle Balfre of Oregon; stepchildren, Larry Robbins and Kathy Stowell, both of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Austin Robbins of Hutchinson, Anne Divine of Colorado, Marie Divine of Virginia, Tiffany (Carl) Jones, Angel (Justin) Pennington, Cody Scrogham and LeAnn Scrogham, both of Virginia; and great-grandchildren, Addyson Jones, Blake Jones, Miley Pennington, and Bri Scrogham, all of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon ‘Woody’ Wood; and grandson, Michael Ray Scrogham, Jr.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Salvation Army, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
