I-70 traffic stop leads to arrest of child sex crime suspect

GEARY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.

Just after 12:30p.m. Sunday, the Geary County Sheriff's Department arrested Christopher Hyde, 20, of Topeka on Interstate 70 just east of Humboldt Creek Road, according to a media release.

Hyde was wanted on Dickinson County District Court warrant alleging Rape, Aggravated Criminal Sodomy, Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child, Electronic Solicitation and Aggravated Indecent Solicitation of a Child.   Hyde posted bond and is no longer in custody, according to online jail records.
