Edward ‘Ed’ Hullet, 94, of Hutchinson, passed away December 8, 2020, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 3, 1926, in Avard, OK, to Cleo and Pauline Hullet.

Ed married his high school sweetheart, Jean Riecker, on July 4, 1945. They were married for 75 years.

Ed loved the land and farmed for 15 years in Oklahoma before moving to Hutchinson. He worked for Cessna, Beltone Hearing Service, and Hullet’s Christmas Tree Farm. Ed was noted for his work in collecting and restoring salesman sample stoves.

Ed was a dedicated family man who enjoyed traveling, fishing, and camping. He and Jean loved working and living side by side out on their farm. Ed loved watching the wildlife, spending time with his family, and attending Grace Bible Church.

Ed is survived by his wife, Jean Hullet; daughter, Sherry Relph (Willie); son, Steve Hullet (Nadine); grandchildren, Amanda Hullet, Bryce Hullet (Amy); great-grandchildren, Noah, Carter, and Sawyer Hullet; and step-granddaughter, Heather LacKamp and family.

Services are planned for family only at this time, with a celebration of life to take place at a later date.

Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday at Elliott Mortuary.

Because of the exceptional care he and his family received, memorials can be made to Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County or Grace Bible Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
