🎳 Buhler sweeps 4-1A regional championships, McPherson runner-up

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Buhler High School girls and boys bowling teams swept its class 4-1A regional titles on Wednesday at The Alley.

The Crusader girls dominated the regional, placing all six bowlers in the top 10, including Macy Miller, who claimed the individual title.

Eva Goertz finished 3rd, Madalyn Bohringer 5th, Aubrey Ewing 6th, Cheyann Geesling 7th and Brayla Johnson 9th.

The Crusader boys were led by Julian Morrison, who finished 3rd. Malachi Willis was 5th, Rylan Klug 6th, Dominic Gaede 7th and Trevor Tustian 10th. 

McPherson girls and boys teams each finished as regional runner-up. 

The Bullpup girls were led by Brooke Henry with a 2nd place finish.

The McPherson boys were led by Brody Hutts with a runner-up finish.

Full results from the regional can be found here. The other schools who competed in the regional, hosted by Buhler, included Hesston, Holcomb, McPherson, Salina-Sacred Heart, Smoky Valley and Solomon.

The state bowling championships for class 4-1A will be held on Thursday, March 6 at Bowlero Northrock in Wichita.
