NEWTON, Kan. — On September 24, 2024, the Harvey County Commission requested a presentation from the Kansas Water Office and Groundwater Management District 2 (GMD 2) on an overview of the implementation of the Kansas Water Plan and the local impacts of the Kansas Water Plan. That presentation will be given on Tuesday.
Vijay Ramasamy, Governor's Special Advisor for Water, will be attending the meeting virtually on behalf of the Kansas Water Office. Tim Boese, GMD 2 Manager, will be attending in person.
The Harvey County Commission meets Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Community Room in the Courthouse Basement in Newton.
