McPHERSON, Kan. — Fresh off one of the best seasons in program history, the McPherson College women’s volleyball team will open the 2025 season ranked No. 11 in the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll released this week.

The Bulldogs, who are tied with Montana Western at No. 11, earned 317 points in the voting after finishing 30-7 in 2024. McPherson is coming off a trip to the NAIA National Championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa.

McPherson will face a challenging opening stretch, including a matchup against seventh-ranked Northwestern (Iowa) at the Sioux City Tournament. The Bulldogs open the season Friday, August 22 against Dakota Wesleyan.&nbsp;

Indiana Wesleyan, the defending two-time national champion, holds the No. 1 spot after receiving all 19 first-place votes. Bellevue (Neb.), Corban (Ore.), Concordia (Neb.) and Eastern Oregon round out the top five.
