
EMPORIA, Kan. — Eagle Media will serve as the official radio broadcast partner of the 53rd Kansas Shrine Bowl, set for Saturday, June 27, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at Welch Stadium in Emporia.
The broadcast team features Gerard Wellbrock as play-by-play, Sean Boston as analyst, and Anthony Gorges reporting from the sidelines. Glen Grunwald will serve as the on-site engineer.
The game will air live across five Eagle Media markets:
- Hutchinson (102.9 FM – flagship station)
- Great Bend (100.7 FM)
- Hays (101.9 FM)
- Salina (910 AM/107.5 FM)
- Manhattan (103.5 FM)
Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with a 30-minute show featuring interviews and more.
The Shrine Bowl of Kansas, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to producing annual events that benefit Shriners Children’s. Since its inception in 1974, the organization has raised nearly $4 million for the healthcare network, which provides pediatric specialty care regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
In addition to the East vs. West all-star football game, Kansas Shrine All-Star Events include the Kansas Masonic All-State Marching Band Camp, the Kansas Shrine Bowl All-Star Cheer Camp, the KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals, and a variety of other game week activities. Shriners Children’s, formerly known as Shriners Hospitals for Children, operates facilities and outreach programs worldwide, offering innovative research, teaching programs, and family-centered care to children up to age 18.
