The Blue Dragons dropped the first meeting of the season with Garden City, opening conference play on November 19 with an 84-76 loss to the Broncbusters at the Sports Arena.
Shaw had 21 points and Cannon had 20 points to lead four Blue Dragons in double figures. Nevill scored 26 points to lead Garden City. Nevill owns the individual opponent single-game high against Hutchinson this season.
