Champel Marie Lindsay, 38, of McPherson, passed away at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26th, at her home.
Champel was born in Newton, on December 6, 1983, a daughter of Debra Ann McFadden, and Charles "Chuck" Burgess Lindsay.
Champel attended Roosevelt grade school, McPherson Middle School, and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas in 2002. In high school, she was in the marching band and played the flute and piccolo.
Through the years, Champel worked at Mr. B's Restaurant, Best Western Hotel, and was currently working for Service Master.
Champel enjoyed reading, music, genealogy, working puzzles loved watching sports and holidays hanging with her friends, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Debra & Chris McFadden, of Marion, Kansas; and her father Charles "Chuck" Lindsay, of Peabody, Kansas; her sister, Amber Lindsay, of McPherson; her half sister, Candee, wife of Kevin McKinney, of Newton; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Wilford Woddell; uncle Terry Woddell, and paternal grandparents, Irene and Wilbur Sattler.
Services will be at a later date.
