The following roads are currently impassable:

  1. 69th Avenue from Wilson to Pennington
  2. 50th Avenue from Wilson to Pennington
  3. 43rd Avenue from Pennington to Hendricks
  4. 95th Avenue from Dean to Wilson
  5. Wilson Road from 69th to 82nd

Officials warn that these closures are based on the most current information available and could change as conditions evolve. Drivers are urged to use caution and obey all posted signs and barriers.

“If you encounter a road with water across it, turn around—don’t drown,” the Reno County Emergency Communications Center said in a statement.

Authorities emphasize the dangers of driving through flooded roadways, as even a small amount of moving water can sweep vehicles away.

Emergency responders continue to monitor conditions and update the public as needed.
