MCPHERSON COUNTY—A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before noon Thursday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Silverado driven by Shelby L. Steenson, 79, Mentor, was northbound on Interstate 135 at Limestone Road.
The pickup swerved to the right, hit a concrete bridge rail, struck the guardrail and swerved into the east ditch.
EMS transported Steenson to the hospital in McPherson. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
