Betty P. Shay, 94, died Oct. 13, 2021 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1927, in Kingman the daughter of Clarence and Pearl Robey Sinnett. A Kingman resident most of her life, she was a former telephone switchboard operator and daycare provider.
Betty was a member of the Kingman United Methodist Church and the O.E.S.
On Jan. 1, 1947, she married Gene Shay at Kingman; he died June 10, 2000. Survivors include a son Pat and his wife Judy; Jeremy Shay (Nancy), Sean Shay (Michelle), Jason Shay (Staci), Amanda (Shay)/Ryan Jett, Meagan (Shay)/Sam Clark; and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Mike and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the Kingman County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
