Going 5-0 since the last poll release on December 16, the Hutchinson Community College women’s basketball team maintained its No. 1 spot NJCAA Division I National Rankings for the seventh-straight 2024-25 polling period on Monday.

Since returning to action for the second semester, the Blue Dragons have defeated Cowley (72-70), Butler (57-53) and Pratt (92-47) to improve to 16-0 and remain one of four undefeated teams in the nation. No. 2 Northwest Florida State (17-0), No. 8 Chipola (19-0) and No. 10 McLennan (13-0) are the other unbeaten teams.

The Blue Dragons have been ranked No. 1 in 13 consecutive polls dating back to last season and have been ranked in 22 consecutive polls and 181 of the last 203 polls.Hutchinson plays host to Seward County on Wednesday and then travels to No. 3 Dodge City on Saturday.

Hutchinson and Dodge City are the only KJCCC ranked in the Top 25. Coffeyville is in the receiving votes list.The Top 5 has Hutchinson, Northwest Florida State, Dodge City, New Mexico Junior College and Three Rivers this week.
