Richard “Dick” Arthur Stow, 88, of Buhler, Kansas, passed away on his 88th birthday, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. He was born October 28, 1933, in Decorah, Iowa, the son of Orville and Mabel (Bloomberg) Stow.

He graduated from Davenport High School in Davenport, Iowa, with the class of 1951.

Dick was enlisted in the United States Navy from 1955-1959, attaining the rank of Engineman 2nd class.

He was a member of the Young at Hearts in Hutchinson. Dick attended Union Valley Bible Church in Hutchinson.

Dick worked as a Poultry Serviceman at Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. for 28 years, retiring in 1999.

He was united in marriage to Dorothy Semones on November 29, 1968, in Hutchinson, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his sister, Mary E. (Phil) McAlearney, and their children, Steve McAlearney and Sheryl McAlearney.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Buhler East Cemetery, Buhler, Kansas, with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Valley Bible Church in care of Buhler Mortuary, PO Box 589, Buhler, KS 67522.
