LAWRENCE, Kan. — Kansas will host Duke in an exhibition game Oct. 25 at Allen Fieldhouse as part of the Blue Blood Classic, the school announced Wednesday.
The Homecoming weekend matchup will mark Duke’s second appearance at Allen Fieldhouse. A tipoff time will be announced later.
Kansas will make a return trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium for an exhibition against Duke in October 2027.
Tickets for the Duke game are not included in Kansas men’s basketball season-ticket packages. Season-ticket holders may begin purchasing their current seat locations Wednesday. Additional donor sales will open by level Aug. 20, followed by public sales Aug. 26.
Kansas students who purchased an All Sports Combo will receive ticket information in early September.
The Duke matchup completes Kansas’ three-game exhibition schedule. The Jayhawks will host Pittsburg State on Oct. 16 during Late Night in the Phog before facing Louisville on Oct. 21.
Kansas and Duke have met 16 times since 1985. Duke’s only previous trip to Allen Fieldhouse came Feb. 20, 1988, when the sixth-ranked Blue Devils earned a 74-70 overtime victory.
Kansas later defeated Duke 66-59 in the 1988 Final Four semifinals before winning the national championship.
The 1988 meeting also marked the debut of Allen Fieldhouse’s “Pay Heed, All Who Enter: Beware of the Phog” banner. The original now hangs in the Booth Family Hall of Athletics, while a replica remains displayed inside the arena.
