John David Angell |1940-2021|

John David Angell, 81, of Medicine Lodge, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Kiowa District Manor, Kiowa.

He was born on May 16, 1940 in Alva, OK, the son of John Angell and Leora (Klusman) Angell. On May 21, 1961, he married Judy (Crosby) Angell in Medicine Lodge. She preceded him in death on December 30, 2020.

John was a truck driver and Catholic by Faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are one daughter Tammy (Russell)Angell-Countryman of Hardtner; Four grandchildren, Judy Angell, Julie Roundy, David D. Countryman, and Lacy Cummins; Five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Countryman, Landon Roberts, Cadence Countryman, Liberty Mason, and Kaylynn Mason; three brothers, Don Angell of Colorado, Doug Angell of Wichita, and Bill Angell of Beloit; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judy, one daughter, Lynette Cummins, one sister, Diane Angell, and one brother, Gary Angell.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, 67104.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.
