HUTCHINSON, Kan.— A Hutchinson man is facing potential charges of aggravated kidnapping and other counts related to a domestic disturbance Sunday morning.
Rey Sanchez is being held in the Reno County Correctional Facility on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping, sexual battery, two counts of domestic battery, aggravated burglary, and criminal damage to property. His bond is set at $120,750.
Sancehz was arrested after police responded to a domestic situation. According to the affidavit, Sanchez broke into the victim's house and attacked her in her bedroom. At one time she is said to have escaped out on to the front porch, but was grabbed and forced back into the home.
Sanchez is also alleged to have threatened two witnesses during the altercation before driving away from the scene. The investigation continues.
