KINGMAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Wednesday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Ford Edge driven by Crystal L Escalante, 43, Cheney, was westbound in the eastbound inside lane of U.S. 54 twelve miles east of Kingman. The SUV struck an eastbound 2020 Freightliner semi head-on.
EMS transported Escalante to Wesley Medical Center. The semi driver from California was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
