🏐 Blue Dragons open season ranked in NJCAA preseason poll

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The HutchCC Blue Dragon volleyball team is ranked No. 19 the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) preseason poll.

The Blue Dragons are one of three Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference schools ranked in the preseason poll. Seward is ranked No. 10 and Butler is No. 17.

HutchCC finished the 2022 season with a 26-12 overall record, 12-4 in the KJCCC. The Blue Dragons' season ended in the Region VI semifinals with a loss to Butler.

The Blue Dragons open the 2023 season on Friday in McCook, Nebraska in the McCook Tournament. HutchCC will play the host Indians on Friday at 1 p.m.
