Hutchinson residents planning to vote in the upcoming City of Hutchinson Sales Tax special election must register by Tuesday, Feb. 10, according to the Reno County Election Office.
Voters can register online through the Reno County Election Office website or in person at the Reno County Annex, located at 125 West 1st Avenue in Hutchinson.
The 2026 Special Election is scheduled for March 3, 2026. Mail-in ballots will begin being sent to voters on Feb. 11.
Advance voting in person will start on Feb. 23 in the Reno County Annex Conference Room. In-person advance voting will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will close at noon on Monday, March 2.
Election officials encourage eligible voters to complete their registration or make sure their registration is correct before the deadline to ensure they are able to participate in the special election.
