HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Formal charges have been filed against a Hutchinson man who was involved in a domestic dispute last week.
Rey Sanchez is charged with criminal restraint, aggravated burglary, aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.
Sanchez was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and other potential charges following a domestic dispute the morning of Sept. 27. However, no charges of kidnapping were filed in the case.
According to the affidavit, Sanchez broke into the victim's house and attacked her in her bedroom. At one time, she allegedly escaped out on the front porch, but was grabbed and forced back into the home.
Sanchez remains jailed on a bond of $50,000.
