Screwworm will make it to the United States this summer. That's the warning from Colin Woodall, CEO of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

Woodall says the pest is likely to cross the southern border later this summer, and that it’s no longer a question of whether we see an infestation in the U.S., it’s a matter of when.
The only cure is to sterilize the male screwworm flies, which they do in a factory in Mexico.
