
NEWTON, Kan. - The Hutchinson Monarchs erupted for 21 runs in a seven inning run-rule win over the Newton Rebels Thursday night in Newton.
Hutch was led with a five-for-five, three RBI night by Cooper Wesslund. Camden Johnson and Jaden Gustafson also had big nights with three RBI's each.
Cole Toureau earned the win on the mound.

Saturday night is Cancer awareness night with all proceeds going to the Reno County Cancer Council including a silent auction of Monarch Jerseys.
