HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department provided results on Thursday from the Click It or Ticket campaign.
During that time, HPD conducted overtime saturation patrols to aggressively enforce Kansas occupant restraint, texting, impaired driving, and other traffic laws.
During the campaign, officers wrote 20 safety belt citations, 2 child restraint citations, and 7 other citations. 27 vehicle stops were made during the campaign.
The funds for the additional enforcement came from a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
