Sheriff: 1 hospitalized after alleged road-rage shooting on I-70

GEARY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a road-rage shooting on Interstate 70.

On Sunday, deputies responded to I-70 near Moritz Road 13 miles east of Junction City for a possible road rage incident, according to a media release from the Geary County Sheriff.

Upon arrival they found a vehicle with a woman identified as Tina Borawksi, the only occupant who was suffering from a single gunshot wound. EMS transported her to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies were given a description of the other person allegedly involved in the incident as a white man between 25 and 37 years of age, with a possible goatee and shaggy strawberry blonde hair. He was driving a four-door white vehicle with an unknown registration.
