The Reno County Board of Commissioners will meet Wednesday, July 23, to consider a key step in the planned renovation of the county’s Health Department.
The regular meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Veterans Room of the Reno County Courthouse, located at 206 W. 1st Avenue in Hutchinson.
On the agenda is a recommendation for an architect to design the Health Department renovation. The project is set to begin once the county’s new EMS facility is completed, freeing up the space currently occupied by Reno County EMS. The Health Department is expected to expand into that area as part of the renovation.
Following the regular session, commissioners will remain in the Veterans Room for a budget work session to continue discussions on the county’s 2026 budget planning.
