HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department reported Thursday that Capt. Troy Mueller was reassigned to a different fire in Montana called the Grouse Fire.
He had originally been assigned to a pair of blazes in Idaho.
Mueller was originally asked to assist with the Rocky Mountain Incident Command Team Three as wildfires continue to kick off and spread throughout the western United States.
Captain Mueller was initially mobilized to the Gwen fire in Idaho burning on the Nez Perce Reservation in north central Idaho.
