Marlys A. Marston, 92, of Hillsboro and formerly of Canton died March 27, 2021, at Parkside Homes. She was born Sept. 1, 1928, to Preston and Grace Waln and married William K. Marston July 20, 1950. She was active in the Canton community, United Methodist Church, school system, and 4-H, as well as Master Farmers and Homemakers, National Shorthorn Lassies, and Grange.
Survivors include her children Belinda Hulsey of Isle of Palms, SC; Twig (Mary) of Manhattan, KS.; Barbara (Rick) Dean of LeRoy, IL.; and Shad (Thea) of Canton; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Marlys was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Pauline Greenhaw.
Interment/Burial at Canton Township Cemetery Thursday, April 1, at 10 a.m. with Services to follow at 11 a.m. at the Canton United Methodist Church. Masks are requested.
