ELLSWORTH, Kan. — A Reno County man was involved in a two-vehicle injury accident just before 1 p.m. Tuesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a van driven by 46-year-old Joe Scott Markus of Partridge was southbound on Kansas 14.
After stopping at the stop sign at Kansas 156, the van pulled in front of a northeast-bound pickup driven by 37-year-old Candace Renae Rice of Salina. The pickup struck the van in the passenger side.
EMS transported Rice to Ellsworth County Medical Center. Markus was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
