Mother Nature continues to make Hutchinson Community College athletic teams alter their schedules.
The latest change is with the No. 2 Blue Dragon Football Team’s road showdown at No. 12-ranked Butler at BG Products Veterans Stadium in El Dorado.
Kickoff has been moved up to 3 p.m. because of potential severe storms forecast for the El Dorado area Saturday night. The original kickoff was scheduled for 6 p.m.
According to several forecast models, there is an increasing likelihood of severe weather on Saturday evening in South-Central Kansas, including El Dorado.
This is the second game of the September 19 KJCCC schedule to be moved. The Coffeyville-Iowa Central game at Coffeyville has been moved to 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The game will be broadcast live on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) beginning at 2:30 p.m. Butler Creative TV will provide the videostream.
