KINGMAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Wednesday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Lincoln MKX driven by Ali Jo Soukup, 41, Great Bend, was northbound on East 160th Avenue one mile south of West 170th Avenue.
The driver lost control of the SUV. The vehicle slid into the east ditch and struck a 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by Jessica Lynn Bendure, 39, Hoisington.
EMS transported Bendure to Clara Barton Hospital. Soukup and a passenger in the SUV were not injured. Bendure was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
