HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Honor and remember those who are fighting or have fought cancer at the Cancer Council of Reno County's annual Starlight event on Saturday.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at Avenue A Park.
The Cancer Council is partnering with The Pointe School of Dance again and Country 102.9's own Morgan Wilk will be playing as well.
New this year, there will be food trucks parked along Main and Ave A for attendees to enjoy while you listen to the music and enjoy the dancers.
The ceremony begins at 8 p.m. If you are planning on joining the Council and lighting a lantern, they encourage you to pick up your lantern and decorate it ahead of time.
