HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The 2025 Reno County Extension Master Gardener's Summer Garden Tour is set for Saturday, June 14, offering an opportunity to explore five stunning local gardens. The tour will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Hutchinson, Kansas, showcasing unique landscapes, including the popular Extension Master Gardener's Demo Garden at Hutchinson Community College (HutchCC).
Visitors will be guided by Reno County Master Gardeners, who will be on hand to answer gardening questions and provide expert insights at each stop. The gardens featured on the tour span various styles and features, offering a chance to see everything from residential gardens to specialized demonstration spaces.
Tickets are available in advance for $10 through June 13 at several local retailers, including Bornholdt's Plantland, Stutzman's in Pleasantview and on East 30th, Absolutely Flowers, Dillon’s Nature Center, and the Reno County Extension Office. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will be priced at $12, with children 12 and under attending for free.
A ticket also includes a map of the garden locations, ensuring guests can explore all the stops at their own pace. In addition to the beautiful gardens, multiple garden vendors will be present at the HutchCC campus for those interested in purchasing plants and gardening supplies.
