HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Deputy Elections Clerk Jenna Fager said turnout for an off year primary is usually low.
"In a typical year, I would say maybe 20 to 25%," Fager said.
This is not a typical primary year.
"I'm thinking we'll see maybe 32% this time," Fager said.
She believes the constitutional amendment question is the driving force this time, but it doesn't matter how many people vote, her office needs to be ready for all who are registered.
"We definitely want people to turn out," Fager said. "Turn out. Come out. Come vote."
Advance voting ends at noon Monday. You can find your ballot and polling place at https://myvoteinfo.voteks.org/voterview/.
