Reno County loses population, according to 2020 Census

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to information released by the U.S. Census Bureau Thursday, Reno County has dropped 4.1% in population from 2010 to 2020.

The 2010 total population of the county was 64,511. The 2020 county population was 61,898.

McPherson County gained population from 29,180 to 30,223 a gain of 3.6%.

Rice County lost 6.5%, down to 9,427 from 10,083.

Harvey County lost 1.9% from 34,684 to 34,024.

Kingman County lost 4.9% from 7,858 to 7,470.

Pratt County lost 5.2% from 9,656 to 9,157.

Stafford County lost 8.2%, from 4,437 to 4,072.
