Jeffery Tyler Johnson, 55, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Stormont Vail Health, Topeka. He was born March 21, 1967 in Topeka, the son of Jeffery and Vergene (Pitzenberger) Johnson. Ty worked on a dairy farm a good portion of his life and had been a resident of Hillsboro for ten years, moving from Lehigh.
On February 12, 1993 he married Linda Joy Morris in McPherson. They were blessed with three children, Tanner Lane, Lakyn Tylin and Lynne Taylor. Linda preceded him in death on April 28, 2009 and Tanner preceded him in death on December 14, 2015.
Ty is survived by his daughters, Lakyn Tylin Johnson and Lynne Taylor Johnson, both of Hillsboro; his mother and step-father, Genie and Lee Swenson, Lindsborg; a brother, Greg Johnson, Lindsborg and a sister, Susan Johnson, Lindsborg. He was also preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Olson's Mortuary, Canton, is in charge of arrangements.
