RENO COUNTY – A two-semi crash early Thursday morning blocked traffic on K-61 southwest of Arlington for around two and a half hours.
Reno County Sheriff’s Captain Levi Blumanhourst said the accident occurred around 6 a.m. near the junction of K-61 and K-11, known there as Hodge Road, about a mile southwest of Arlington.
Injuries to the two drivers were minor, but there was a considerable amount of debris blocking the roadway that prompted the closure
K-61 was re-opened just after 8:30 a.m., although crews remained on the scene until later in the morning clearing the trucks and debris.
Blumanhorst thanked KDOT and KHP for their assistance in opening the road more quickly than originally anticipated.
