HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday approved the contract of Reno County Administrator Randy Partington. 

His 2022 salary is set at $154,500, with an increase in deferred compensation to $20,500.

Commissioner Ron Sellers made clear that he wants to see Partington's contract for 2023 on the agenda in the fall of 2022. 

This is in an effort to dispense with a renewal before the commission has two new members join it in January of 2023, simply because any new members wouldn't be able to adequately assess the administrator's performance without having been on the commission.

Partington's contract renewed, commission will look at 2023 in fall of 2022
