WICHITA, Kan. – Alex Isola homered and drove home two runs but the visiting Tulsa Drillers delivered their second come from behind win of the series to take a two games to one lead in the series.

The Wind Surge offense scored three first inning runs. DaShawn Keirsey extended his hitting streak to nine games and drove home a run and Isola followed with his eighth home run of the season.

Tulsa picked up a run in the second and scored three third inning runs to take the lead. Tulsa catcher Diego Cartaya homered in the fourth consecutive game and Kody Hoese added a couple of RBI for Tulsa.

Aaron Rozek followed his best start of the season going two and two third innings in a no-decision. Andrew Cabezas took the defeat for Wichita and Nick Nastrini pitched five innings and survived the first inning to earn his second win.

First place Tulsa improved to the league best 32-16 record and Wichita will fall to ten and a half games back with a record of 21-26.

NOTES: The Drillers lead the 2023 Propeller Series six games to three. Brooks Lee extended his hitting streak to eight games.
