Travis Wayne Thrash |1986-2021|

Travis Wayne Thrash, 35, died December 9, 2021, in South Hutchinson.  He was born June 29, 1986, in Hutchinson, to Tracy Wayne and Tanya (Duer) Thrash. 

Travis attended Buhler High School, and was a self-employed contractor.  He enjoyed tinkering with his “toys”, riding his Harley Davidsons, and anything outdoors, from camping to cooking.  Travis was happiest when he was with his family, especially his three children, and his close friends.  He loved being a dad.

On February 14, 2012, he married Amanda Adamson, at Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson.

Travis is survived by:  wife, Amanda of South Hutchinson; children, Willow, Aspen, and Tregh; mother, Tanya Welch (Brannon); brother, Trevor Thrash; grandmother, Joan Thrash; nieces and nephews, Tegan, AnaLena, Oliva, Tucker, and Jace; mother-in-law, Helen Hougham; father-in-law, Mike Miller, all of Hutchinson; numerous cousins; and numerous bonus nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by:  his father, Tracy Thrash; paternal grandfather, Ralph Thrash; maternal grandparents, Laddie and Carolyn Duer; nephew, Devon White-McArthur; cousins, Christopher Thrash and Zach Boyd; and uncle, Nick Duer.

Celebration of Life service will be 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum, Hutchinson, with Wayne DeWindt officiating.  Friends may sign his book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Travis Thrash Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.

The family encourages casual dress, and to wear a Harley Davidson shirt to the service.
