After winning the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic last Thursday in his collegiate debut, Hutchinson Community College freshman cross country runner Letsepa Prince Madume was named the KJCCC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Tuesday.
Madume, a freshman from Johannesburg, South Africa, led 5 Blue Dragon runners to finish in the Top 6 to win the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic on Thursday at Fun Valley.
Mudame became the third Blue Dragon men's runner to win the Masterson Twilight individual championship. He joins Andrew Kibet (2018) and Cornelius Kogo (2025) as Masterson champions.
Mudame's winning time was 20:02.93, the 13th-fastest time over the Masterson Twilight 4-mile men's course in race history.
He won the race by 25.27 seconds.
