Reno County Emergency Management reported 60 to 70 mile hour wind gusts around 7 p.m. Sunday in the Sylvia and Turon areas, along with a report around 7:30 p.m. of a 75 to 80 mph wind gust in Kingman County.
There was also a report of some power poles knocked down around 7:45 p.m. 3 miles south of Pretty Prairie. The rainfall was not enough to continue to cause a flooding threat near Cow Creek, though, as the National Weather Service said the creek would crest below flood stage on Monday.
There was also scattered damage in Kingman with 4 to 6 inch tree limbs down reported just after 7:30 p.m.
