Frisco quickly answered with a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning to take a 3-1 lead.

Wichita tied the game with two runs in the second, scoring on an RBI single and a wild pitch. The RoughRiders regained the lead in the bottom half on a solo homer and an RBI single, then added three more runs in the third to build an 8-3 advantage.

Winokur's solo homer in the seventh pulled Wichita within 8-4, but Frisco answered with another solo shot in the eighth to restore a five-run lead.

The Wind Surge then produced their largest comeback of the season in the ninth.

After Kendle's two-run homer made it 9-6, Wichita loaded the bases before Thomason's grand slam put the Wind Surge ahead 10-9.

Kyle Bischoff worked a scoreless bottom of the ninth to earn the save.
