The Hutchinson Community College Football team goes in search for an undefeated regular season and to secure the No. 1 overall seed for the upcoming NJCAA National Playoffs on Saturday.

The No. 1-ranked and 2026 Jayhawk Conference champion Blue Dragons (10-0) go on the road to play the 11th-ranked Iowa Central Tritons (6-3) in a Noon kickoff at Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge, Iowa in the 2026 regular-season finale.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) and on sister stations KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5) with Sean Boston (play-by-play) calling the action beginning at 11:30 a.m. with Countdown To Kickoff. The game will be exclusively streamed Iowa Central's YouTube Channel.

The Blue Dragons also try to extend their record 29-game road winning streak.

Last Saturday, the Blue Dragons captured their seventh-straight Jayhawk Conference championship after a 59-0 victory over Dodge City at Gowans Stadium.

The victory secured the program's 16th overall KJCCC title and the 12th 10-plus win season in program history. The Blue Dragons also bid for their eighth undefeated regular season in program history.

The 2026 Blue Dragon defense pitched its sixth shutout of the season, which tied the program record for most shutouts in a single season, tying the 1935, 1936 and 1948 Blue Dragons.

Against Dodge City, the Blue Dragon defense may have had its best overall performance, allowing the Conquistadors to run only 1 of 53 plays in Hutchinson territory. The Dragons limited Dodge City to 24 rushing yards, 45 passing yards and 0 of 17 on third down. The Dragons didn't get a takeaway, but forced 15 Dodge City punts.

The Tritons enter Saturday's game coming off a wild 36-34 win last week at NEO. Iowa Central is 4-2 against the Jayhawk Conference this season. The Tritons went 1-1 in the Iowa Collegiate Athletic Conference.

The Tritons are one of the top pass defenses in the nation this season. Iowa Central is allowing 123.3 passing yards per game this season Opposing quarterbacks are completing only 47.6 percent of their passes against the Iowa Central defense.

Saturday's matchup with the Blue Dragons and Tritons mark the sixth-straight season the teams meet with both in the NJCAA national rankings. This is the second-straight season the Blue Dragons travel to Fort Dodge. Led by Derrick Salley Jr's three touchdown receptions and David Jester's 76-yard interception return for a touchdown, the Blue Dragons won the 2025 game, 35-17, Hutchinson's fifth-straight victory over Iowa Central.
