RENO COUNTY — A Hutchinson woman died in an accident that occurred just before 4:30p.m. Monday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Dodge Durango driven by Nathan Christopher Pfannenstiel, 19, Hutchinson was traveling northwest on K-96 approaching Trail West Road three miles south of South Hutchinson. The SUV veered onto the right shoulder and struck a legally parked 1999 Freightliner semi.

EMS transported a passenger in the SUV,&nbsp; Baylee Marie Flynn, 19, Hutchinson, to Wesley Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

Pfannenstiel was reported to have sustained suspected minor injuries.&nbsp;&nbsp;Both wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash, according to the KHP.
