WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State sophomore middle blocker Natalie Foster was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

It's the fourth weekly honor for Foster, who has now been named to the Honor Roll in consecutive weeks.

The sophomore middle blocker added to her tremendous season with two more outstanding performances against Tulane and Houston. Against the Green Wave, Foster hit .423, committing just one attack error in 26 attempts while terminating 12. She added three blocks and a pair of service aces, in addition to delivering the match-winning kill at 24-23 in the fourth set.

Foster was even better on Sunday against one of the nation's top defenses in Houston. She hit a staggering .684 on 19 tries, putting down 14 kills with a lone attack error. For the weekend, Foster hit a combined .533 (26 kills, 2 errors, 45 attempts), averaging 3.7 kills per set.

The recent hot stretch from Foster has raised her season hitting percentage to .371, third best in The American and 43nd nationally. Most impressively, Foster has maintained this level of efficiency despite leading all AAC middles in attempts since the start of conference play at more than 6.5 per set.

Foster and the Shockers hit the road to battle their travel partner Tulsa on Wednesday evening. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
