HUTCHINSON, Kan. — August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), an annual observance to highlight the importance of vaccinations for people of all ages.
The new school year is just about to start, so make sure your child(ren) are up to date on their vaccines. You can call your own trusted healthcare provider for an appointment to check on your vaccination schedule for your family. The Reno County Health Department will be holding a Vaccine Clinic and will be open extended hours until 8 p.m. on Monday, August 12.
Call the Health Department for an appointment or if you have questions at 620-694-2900.
Together, we can help raise awareness about the importance of vaccination and encourage people to talk to a healthcare provider they trust about staying up to date on their vaccinations.
