⚾ Royals slugger Witt Jr. to participate in Home Run Derby

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Royals slugger Bobby Witt Jr. has announced he will participate in the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby on Monday, July 15 in Arlington, Texas.

The 24-year-old Witt is a Colleyville, Texas, native and grew up just north of Arlington. Witt becomes the fourth player to announce his spot in the eight-player field behind Orioles slugger Gunnar Henderson, Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm and Mets first baseman Pete Alonso.
