Carolyn Jean (Neufeld) Buhler, 71, passed away Saturday May 29, 2021 at Mennonite Friendship Community in South Hutchinson, KS. She was born July 5, 1949 in McPherson, KS.
On December 19, 1969 Carolyn married James Buhler and lived in Canada where their children were born, until 1984 when she moved back to Inman, KS with the children.
Carolyn loved the Lord and served Him in various ways. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years and spent most of her life working with children. Before she retired, she changed careers and worked at the nursing home doing what she loved most, making crafts and singing with the residents. She loved her family and always looked for opportunities to send gifts for special occasions or make birthday cakes for the grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her son Tim Buhler (Nicolle) and their children, Jordyn, Holly, Caleb, Nathaniel and Benjamin; daughter Tammy Galloway (Scott) and their children, Joshua, Levi, Bella, Christian, Joseph, Evie and Ruthie; and son/nephew Jason Herren (Lacey) and their son, Cody; 2 sisters, Betty Hamm and Faye Grounds and brother Leland Neufeld (Jolene), niece Christin Grounds, and nephew Christopher Grounds (Sherinda) and their 3 children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Amanda (Kroeker) Neufeld, of Inman, KS, and ex-husband, James Richard Buhler of Kelowna, BC, Canada.
Cremation is planned. Private family services will take place with inurnment at North Inman Cemetery.
